The Barracks at Rock Prairie Owner's Association

There are three utility companies that service The Barracks Townhomes. Please review the list below and follow instructions to get your utilities set-up.

ELECTRIC – Bryan Texas Utilities
1. Navigate to btutilities.com
2. Select the “Service Management” icon
3. Select the “Apply for Service” button

WATER – Wellborn Special Utility District
1. Download and complete this Service Application & Agreement
2. Email the completed document to [email protected]
3. Follow up to ensure that all documents were received and processed

SANITATION – College Station Utilities
1. Navigate to cstx.gov/utilities
2. Select the blue “Connect/Disconnect” button
3. Select the blue “Connect Utilities” button
4. Select “Sign Up” and create an account.
5. In the “Additional Comments” textbox, state that you only need Trash & Sewage services for The Barracks Townhomes.

Step 1

Find the closet in your Barracks Townhome with your internet hook up. There should already be a modem in the closet. You will need to purchase your own router.

Step 3

Once the modem and router are connected, call (866) 347-4784 and ask to speak to a representative. Have the following information prepared before calling.

• Full Name
• MAC Address (a 12-digit alphanumeric number that is on a sticker on the bottom or back of your modem)
• Barracks Townhomes Address (including zip code)

Let this representative know you need to speak with someone in the “Residential MDU Bulk department” to provision your modem. They may ask you for an account number or access code, but you can tell them you do not have one, but you have the MAC address on the back of the modem and the full address of your home. They should be able to transfer your call to the correct department and help provision your modem. This is also the number you will call if you ever have issues with your internet. Please note that they may ask you about a cable box, but you do NOT need one. You will need to complete a channel scan (see Step 4) to set up your cable.

Step 4

Once Optimum confirms your Wi-Fi has been set up, you can set up your cable. Watch this video to learn how to use your TV’s channel scan.

Step 5

To set up extended cable or DVR packages, you may do so by contacting Optimum at 888-565-5785. You will be billed directly for these additional services.

If you have any problems:

Contact Optimum at 888-565-5785. Tell them you are with The Barracks Townhomes bulk account and be prepared to give them your modem’s MAC Address (found on the bottom of the modem).

Please keep your pets inside and make sure your yard is accessible until 2pm on the day it is being mowed.

Is the problem INSIDE or OUTSIDE of your Townhome? If it’s inside (air conditioning, heat, appliances) please contact your property manager. If it’s outside (trash, fences, yards) please email us at [email protected].

The United States Postal Service owns and maintains all mailboxes in The Barracks neighborhood. In order to get your mailbox key, take any proof of home ownership to the Post Office at 2121 E William J Bryan Pkwy in Bryan with your ID. You will pay for a mail key and be assigned a mailbox within the neighborhood.
